· make sure the EPA releases national school siting guidelines that are strong and comprehensive.
· organize precautionary action programs in NY and NC on zero waste, green purchasing, toxic waste reduction and safer consumer products.
· build on the new Green Purchasing Kit and Nuclear Costs Study, where BE SAFE will release Resource Kits with fact sheets on Media & Messaging and Full Cost Accounting.
· launch a new PVC-free schools campaign to protect children from exposure to toxic phthalates in schools.
· continue to assist communities to organize and advocate for environmental justice.
